Jill, Sales Lead
Jill has loved fashion for as long as she can remember. Although she prefers updating her wardrobe by shopping in fab little boutiques like Firefly Boutique. Her early fashion experience had a more competitive edge! Jostling for browsing rights with her 4 younger sisters to the latest JC Penny Catalog… (If that doesn’t date her! Kidding, we love you Jill!) A brief stint at sewing her own outfits made her appreciate all the work that goes into creating and designing personal style. Her fashion philosophy and practice is making fashion fun and emphasizing what works. And of course, one can never have too many shoes!
Jill has been exploring The Columbia River Gorge for decades, and has made The Dalles her home for the past 12 years. She relocated to Oregon from Montana, deciding that 10 months of winter was a good 9 too long! She enjoys the many amazing hiking opportunities around, as well as the wonderful wineries, Farmer’s Market and The Dalles Art Center. Jill really appreciates the sense of community and small town ambience that The Dalles has to offer.
Early on, Jill developed a love of treasure hunting through yard sales adventures with her grandmother in Arkansas. The handkerchief collection she began so long ago is still a prized possession today. Her collection habit has expanded, the way habits often do, into vintage art and books, and anything Garden!
Jill loves to travel, treasure hunting across the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountain West, and France; as well as Mexico and Hawaii. Since moving to The Dalles, she shares fabulous finds at her Fresh Picked space in Breezeway. A bucket list dream for her would be taking back roads across the US in a van, collecting treasures and enjoying the adventures along the way.
One of Jill’s favorite things about Firefly Boutique is the inclusive energy when you step inside, where the focus is on a fashion experience. Where everyone has fun finding pieces that work for their own personal style. Whether someone is looking for a full wardrobe update, a special event outfit or just an inspirational browse; Firefly Boutique offers up a supportive, and welcoming environment with an emphasis on fun!
Jackie, Web Coordinator & Sales Lead
Jackie is new to the fashion world, her background actually stems from the veterinary and animal world. However, she enjoys art, design and photography. So now? Jackie is working hard at brightening up our online presence here at Firefly Boutique!
She has lived all over the world, literally! Born in Berlin and never stopped traveling. Jackie made the decision to move back to the PNW after being gone on amazing adventures along with being away from family the majority of her life. She recently got married and lives in Goldendale where her and her husband recently built a house…rather a farm! She raises sheep, horses and donkeys, among some of the animals you would find on a farm!

Jackie has had a passion for photography for as long as one can imagine. She has been known to take detours for hours, hunting down the best shot of the world around us. She has over 25k digital photos she has taken (Yes, she has a problem!) and hopes to turn them into something everyone can enjoy one day.
She loves animals and training, she even owned her own training company in Montana. Now? The farm has taken over. Jackie still takes in training clients from time to time for those in the community. If you can’t find her here at the shop, she is usually outdoors on a trail on the back of her horses or mules.
One of Jackie’s favorite things about Firefly Boutique is the family it has created with those she works with (if you want to call it work). We all enjoy each other’s company - unless Anne is hungry- Kidding! Maybe!
Cami, Firefly Mascot
Cami was born at Jackie’s farm, she actually has a twin sister, Cora! You can find Cami running around the shop greeting customers and bouncing around as happy as a lamb in a boutique will! Cami enjoys large grassy fields, alfalfa and….actually, her rug in front of the fireplace is more like it! Do you have snacks? She will happily take them for trade for providing a happiness booster!
